Mojo Monday #71 and my first Mojo challenge!

Well I have decided to branch out in colours as my cards were begining to blend in too well with my blog background. I had some issues getting the sketch to my blog so check it out here - http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

Recipe for Card was Live Your Dreams stamp set, Old Olive ink and cardstock, versamark, Soft Sky cardstock, Fall Flowers DSP and Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon :) Thanks for visiting!

Embrace Life Card Box

Check this out!
Ok, so I'm not an expert box maker, took three times to get it right, but doesn't it rock! I wanted to make a box to fit cards and the C6 envies we can get through Stampin' Up!
I used my favourite stamps from the mini, Embrace Life, and my pretty much favourite colour combo, although Purely Pomergrante still is my favourite colour of all time!

Anyho, the Recipe for this card box: Soft Sky and Blue Bayou Textured Cardstock, Sahara Sand Cardstock, Soft Sky ribbon, Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Versamark, Blue Bayou ink and a half round Pearl from the pretties kit.

Of course what is a card box without cards to go in it? Well right now thats top secret :)
If you like this box, and live in the Dunedin area, email me and ask how you can do this project (along with the cards) in your own home with a few friends.

Don't live in Dunedin? I'm working on something for you too!

I loveeeeeeeeeeee Sahara Sand, it goes with anything!!!!!

It was my first time using a brayer and embossing, it was soooo much fun!

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers 27

Welcome to my site ladies! Here's a quick little intro for you!

I'm from the tropical Bay of Islands, which is near the top of the North Island, summers were spent camping, swimming and fishing, and I have recently moved to Dunedin, which is near the bottom of the south! Already I'm feeling the cold, and wonder how I'm going to survive my first Otago winter! I'm currently knitting the coolest warmest jersey! We have had a few REALLY hot days, but I haven't been in the ocean here, and I don't plan on it! BIG SHARKS, like the BIGGEST! Great Whites (shudder).

I live with my partner, and we have one fur-baby called Max.

In Wellington I had a job in admin, but as I have just moved to Dunedin I haven't found one yet so am using the time to set up my Stampin Up! business.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find some crafty inspiration here!

Embrace Life

I finally got my stamps from the new mini yesterday and lets just say that box was opened and those stamps were mounted in record time! I only snipped myself with my scissors twice, there were no plasters in the house so I had to use invisible tape!

I managed to spread myself out in the lounge, and this is one of the cards I created:)
I just love the colours!

I used Embrace Life from the mini, I think this is my favourite set!

Colours used were Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Soft Sky.

Happy New Year and my New Years Challenge

Good Morning Everyone, Happy New Year to you!

Most people probably thought my blog was done for, but I'm back.
I've just had a lot of personal stuff going on, and one big move from Wellington to Dunedin.

I'm now settled in Dunedin, so keep watching my blog for the loads of ideas I have! My sale-a-bration sets should arrive late this week, can't wait!

As many of you know I moved to Dunedin late last year, and because of the Christmas rush I don't have a job yet. So I have decided to lay down myself a challenge. I must post every single day until I have a job, unless I have a REALLY big excuse... So drop by tomorrow!
