Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 18….

Yes, I know I'm still NOT PACKING... Did I tell you I'm the "Leave it to the Last Minute Queen" Yesterday afternoon it was just too hot to do much of nothing, yes... Don't fall off your seats I said TOO HOT and yes, I live in DUNEDIN... Those words don't really go together but for the last fortnight we have had great weather.... Only one sheet and one duvet on the bed, not the usual, sheet, microfleece blanket fake mink blanket duvet cover and snuggle rug from the warehouse. hahaha...

Anyway, back to the point.... My card for this challenge...


This is the sketch that we had to work with...

Now Sweet Slumber Speciality paper isn't my normal colours so its reaaaaaaaaaaaaally out of my comfort zone, I hope you like what I've done with it.... It's my mission this year to do more card challenges!!! Two in one weekend aint bad!!!

As you can see I'm not packing... But I did spend the morning cleaning so I figure I am allowed to stamp a little...

Any way Just Add Ink Challenge number 3 was calling to me... This is the sketch...

Was going to be ribbon organiser then turned into pretty sample box

So I am really desperate for a ribbon organiser and I had this perfume box that I thought yeah I can use this but my crop-a-dile wouldnt go down far enough so it turned into a pretty sample box...

I used retired Holiday Harmony paper and Purely Pomergrante ribbon... LOVE that colour

As you can see I'm getting through my packing... NOT!

Some news

I might be a little quiet over the next couple of weeks... I'm moving house and I have a lot to do in a short time, but I will be back.... Good thing I'm only moving the next street over!

February Classes... Sneak Peak

I have two classes running in Dunedin this Feb, one a technique class....

The technqiues are, 3d Stamping, Brick wall and Cracked Glass....

The other, is the Butterfly Prints Stamp Class where you will learn how to do a Joy Fold Card, Pocket Card and a 2, 5, 7, 10 Box...

They all use the Butterfly Prints stamp set from the mini and Bella Bleu paper, which I haven't gotten out of my stash in awhile but I love it!

Friends 24/7

I have had a busy weekend, but I can't share what I have been doing just yet.... So here's one of the cards I did a while back.... it's something I did awhile ago that I haven't shared...

Friends 24/7, Riding Hood Red ink and cardstock, Kraft and Very vanilla cardstock. I love Riding Hood Red, I'll be so sad when it retires. And I love kraft.... yum...

Party Hearty...

One of the perks of being a new Senior Supervisor is the FREE STUFF you get... In December I was able to get some new rubber that I had been waiting paitently to get!

So hear's the next card, this one is a case from last years Regionals in Dunedin, I just changed the size, used some different colour cardstock, added a stamp phrase and used a different embellishment... This is the second go as my first one went to the bin as I had mistakenly mounted "happy birthday" upside down, you cant give a birthday card with an upside down happy birthday!



This is a different card for me as I'm not a 'bright card' type of girl... notice I did say bright card, not just bright!!!! ...... Arrgh Shelley you aren't funny before 9am so just go to work!
