Fifth Avenue Floral.... yum yum

I have to admit I had so much fun making this card, using the floating Watercolour technique or whatever it is called, and using my craft ink on the Sanded Big stamp and then embossing it, oh and you can't really tell from this card but yes, DIMENSIONALS!!!!!! Oh and the Oval All from the Spring Mini, love love love it!

Us Dunedin people are pretty much onto our forth day of RAIN, RAIN, RAIN and I'm over it... Where is Summer I ask?

Anyway, as I'm not a Full time Stampin Up Demonstrator, hi ho hi ho it's off to work I go!!!!!

A little blog candy..... and Friends 24/7

Don't all die of shock, I'm posting on my blog like 3 days in a row... I'm trying to make 2010 the year that Shelley finally gets organized. Who else is with me?

Now for a bit of fun.... Let's see how many blog posts I can do this month. Leave a comment with your guesses and at the end of the month who ever is closest wins a little something something from yours truly.

Now, the card in todays post is an almost case from the 2009-2010 except I have glammed it up by attempting the cracked glass technique...

And yes, I'm using Friends 24/7 again, but I love it and at least its not "A Rose is a Rose".... actually I haven't used it all year... hmmmmm....

Anyway BACK to Friends 24/7 I love it and I love the Friendly Words Wheel stamp with it and whilst blog surfing I came across this blog...

I think I just might have to get another one and take to it with my crafty scissors...

Oh and PS: The kittens are girls!!!!!!!

Kristina Werner inspired....

Ok, so over the break I became totally obsessed with Kristina Werners website: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/. The cards below are inspired by her.... I hope you like them.

Its amazing what you can do with a couple bits of DSP and the white gel pen.... which I am now totally addicted to using...

2010 is the year of the White Gel Pen and Dimensionals. There I have given you plenty of warning about what you will be seeing this year on my blog... and hey, 3 posts in not even two days... Are you proud?

Good Morning, and welcome to 2010! My year got off to a rather rocky start but hopefully it's all settled down now... Brenton and I had a lovely Christmas and yesterday our household grew by two with the birth of Asha's kittens... Two Identical black kittens with white noses and white socks, they are really cute and I'll post some pics when they get a bit bigger, at the mo they just look like rat babies...

During my small break I did do MANY cards, like more th
en I can count on one hand!!! Like 29!!!! That's many hands worth! Anyway enough rambling here is the first design, using my new stamp set I (heart) hearts...

The colour combo is Regal Rose, Rose red and Sage Shadow, with So Saffron Ribbon and Button... LOVE IT! Anyway thanks for stopping by, and my New Years Resolution is to blog more! Lets see how long I can make that one last for!

More Rose is a Rose

So I am still alive, I just have been working on something that's taking up alot of my time and trying to get stuff done when you have a sinus infection whilst trying to take no time off, means things are taking longer then planned.... But heres one of the cards I made this week, its the photo doesn't really do it justice, I went alittle cooky with the dimensionals as well which unfortunately you can't really tell in this pic ...

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

I used of course Rose is a Rose, Bella Rose DSP, the big french script stamp which the name currently escapes me, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss card stock and inks... Oh and Choco Chip ribbon, love that stuff!
